On October 1st, 2023, we celebrated the launch of our first luxury alcohol free wine, Oceano Zero Pinot Noir. The complexities and flavor profile of the 2022 Oceano Zero non alcoholic Pinot Noir boldly challenge the stereotypes associated with other juice-like non alcoholic wines on the market.

Oceano Zero proves that non alcoholic wines can be created with the same artistic intention as traditional wines, distinguished by factors such as climate, geology, geography, viticultural practices, and winemaking decisions. Like Oceano’s original wines, Oceano Zero features single-vineyard, single-vintage ultra-premium wines sourced from the sustainably-certified Spanish Springs Vineyard along the San Luis Obispo Coast. On January 21, 2024, our 2022 Pinot Noir vintage sold out.

RACHEL’S JOURNEY: A PERSONAL TRANSFORMATION

Rachel Martin’s relationship with alcohol began in her teenage years and evolved throughout her career as a wine professional for over 20 years. However, the true transformation in Rachel’s relationship with alcohol began with her participation in Dry January as part of Oceano Zero development. This wasn’t just a temporary pause; it was a pivotal moment of revelation.

Embracing Dry January under the banner of Oceano Zero, Rachel experienced significant improvements in both her mental and physical health. This period brought newfound clarity and an understanding of the benefits of moderating alcohol consumption.

Rachel’s experience became a cornerstone of her dedication to Oceano Zero, prompting a reevaluation of our societal connection with alcohol and its impact on our lives and health. While Rachel has not pursued complete sobriety, she now enjoys a more balanced approach to drinking, mixing traditional and non alcoholic beverages, and consciously limiting her alcohol consumption to weekends and sometimes going weeks without a drink. This moderation has enabled her to lead a healthier lifestyle while still valuing the cultural and social aspects of drinking in a mindful way.
