This year, we’re elevating the classic Father’s Day grilling experience with a vibrant twist: grilled flank steak with chimichurri, paired with our ultra-low alcohol Syrah (3.5% ABV).
The marinade is simple but impactful — olive oil, garlic, citrus, and herbs — bringing out the best in the steak without overpowering it. The chimichurri adds a fresh, herby brightness that complements the Syrah’s berry notes and subtle spice. Together, they strike that perfect balance of richness and lift.

Grilled Flank Steak with Chimichurri
Serves 4
For the marinade:
- 1.5–2 lb flank steak
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Juice of 1 orange
- Juice of 1 lime
- 3 garlic cloves, smashed
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt + black pepper
For the chimichurri:
- 1 cup fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup fresh oregano or cilantro
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
Serve with chimichurri spooned generously on top.
Marinate the steak at least 4 hours, ideally overnight.
Blend chimichurri ingredients until finely chopped but not pureed.
Grill the steak over medium-high heat for 4–5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Let rest, then slice thinly against the grain.
